A recent Facebook post by Caged Steel has the regional scene scrambling to get onboard. The Doncaster based promotion annouced a fighting tournament/league under the name ‘Gladiator Series’.
This is set up as three fights in total, with four professional MMA fighters taking part in the series. Fighters can gain points with wins, draws, and bonus points for finish wins.

The winner of the tournament will receive an incredible £30,000 prize. Each fighter will receive a fight purse of £5000 for the three fights, with the overall points winner also receiving an additional £10,000 bonus.
The promotion is asking pro fighters to apply to take part through this link: https://bit.ly/csgladiators-application-form.
There is currently no official date for the Gladiator Series.
The announcement post can be found on Caged Steel’s official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CagedSteel.
Already a successful organisation, Caged Steel have been putting on Combat Sports fight nights since 2011. A large number of their fight cards take place at Doncaster Dome, South Yorkshire.
Their most recent fight card was on March 19th, in which Qendrim Pallata and Matthew Findlay main event the promotion 28th total event.
They now have sights set on Caged Steel 29, to take place June 25th.
Things are looking up for the promotion and any MMA talent who is looking to take up this fantastic opportunity!
