Dillon Danis and Logan Paul will go head-to-head inside a boxing ring on October 14th in Manchester. It’ll be an intriguing contest as both are relatively inexperienced boxers but incredible athletes. There has been a lot of bad blood between the two, and it is obvious that they don’t like each other. Danis has been training with former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira, and the Brazilian fighter spoke on the MMA Hour about the contest.
Dillon Danis Vs Logan Paul
Danis and Paul have been going at it on social media in the buildup to the fight. As previously stated, they are both novices in boxing, as there is only one fight between them. There has been a lot of talk around Danis crossing a line as he repeatedly posts images of Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, to his social media. Danis’ background is in MMA, where he has fought in promotions such as Bellator. It will be interesting to see how the fight plays out and whether they can back up their talk. Danis seems to be entering the contest in good shape, as he posted a picture of himself on social media.
Alex Pereira On The Fight
Danis is training with Pereira, which means the Brazilian fighter has a good idea of his skill. Speaking on the MMA Hour, he gave his thoughts on the fight.
“Yeah, he was just in here today in my gym,” Pereira stated through an interpreter when asked about training with Dillon Danis before his boxing match with Logan Paul. “It was great training; he said he enjoyed rounds with a specific type of sparring; it was a very nice train… No, it was the second time [we trained]; the first time we trained was a few months ago. But Alex was recovering from some fights, still slightly injured, so they just did a few positions on the ground. Some boxing.”
He continued, “Today, it was boxing… Well, Alex is going to travel now for a few days. Maybe [we’ll train] one more time before the fight because he enjoyed the training. He could move a lot, and Dillon enjoyed it, too. Dillon was able to pick up a lot of stuff today, so it was very good.”
