Alexander Gustafsson and Ovince Saint Preux will lock horns at UFC 282 in a light heavyweight matchup.
The veterans will clash among a stacked UFC 282 line-up which will take place December 10th in las Vegas from the T-Mobile Arena.
Sources with knowledge of the matchup told MMA Junkie of the booking and have asked to remain anonymous as the UFC is yet to announce the light heavyweight bout.
Alexander Gustafsson vs. Ovince Saint Preux
Former title challenger Alexander Gustafsson has failed to win a fight dating back to 2017 when stopping Glover Texiera in the fifth round. Since then, the Swedish native has had four fights and been stopped in them all. The losses have been dealt by Jon Jones, Anthony Smith, Fabricio Werdum and Nikita Krylov.
Ovince Saint Preux has been inconsistent as of late but recently snapped a two-fight skid by earning a split decision over Mauricio Rua at UFC 274 in May. Prior to that, since the beginning of 2020, Preux has picked up just two victories from six, defeating Rua and Alonzo Menifield and losing to Ben Rothwell, Jamahal Hill, and Tanner Boser.
