The Fight
Round 1: Alfie Davis comes out throwing fast and flashy kicks. Tim Wilde meets him in the middle with high pressure attempting to land hands. He does just that with an impressive left hook, but Davis shakes it off. Tim continues to push forward going wild and landing some nice shots. Davis initiates a clinch against the fence and attempts a takedown. Wilde grabs the fence to prevent hitting the mat and is deducted a point. After the point deduction, Wilde is throwing big looking to land. At the end of the round, Wilde is going for the kill as Alfie keeps calm and uses his kicks.
Round 2: Similar to the first Davis is having success with his feet. Tim Wilde takes the centre and looks to impose himself on his opponent. Alfie lands the more flashy shots but Wilde has more power at the moment. Until Davis hits Tim with a nice spinning heel kick, but Tim took it well. Tim has his nose bloodied as Davis’ kicks are landing well.
Round 3: Following the pattern of the first two rounds this continues to be a striking battle. Wilde maintains the cage control as Davis circles and picks at him from the outer edges. Both men are trading nice shots and each man takes a turn dictating the pace. Wilde pushes strong to finish well, coming forward throwing plenty of heat. Each man had moments in what was a very close fight.
