Allan Nascimento shows off his slick submission skills and secures first-round RNC over Carlos Hernandez at UFC Strickland Vs Imavov.
A tentative first minute is quickly ended when Allan Nascimento storms Carlos Hernandez to attempt a takedown. Defended well, Allan manages to take the back of Carlos by pulling him on top of him. He secures the body triangle and looks for the neck as Carlos defends.
Hernandez manages to get back to his feet but Nascimento is stuck to his back like glue. An adjustment of grip sees Allan secure the choke leaving Carlos no choice back to tap.

Moving to an overall record of 20-6 he is as experienced as any at 125 lbs. At only 31, he enters his prime and hopes to make a push at the top 15.
Now on the periphery of a ranking, the logical next step for Allan would be an opponent in a similar position to the Brazilian. Either a formerly ranked opponent looking to get their number back, or another fighter on the cusp of the top 15.
