Almighty FC is no stranger to the amateur MMA scene and has added another fight to the card on May 28. An amateur flyweight bout has been added to Almighty FC 25 in Barnsley.
Yordan Nikolov (1-1) vs. Jude Forder (0-1)
Both fighters are very green, and each will look to have a big night when they face off. Yordan Nikolov, after dropping his first amateur bout, looks to build off of his last fight where he picked up his first win. The Bulgarian-born fighter fights out of Sheffield Shootfighters MMA. At just 20 years of age, a win here can bring him the hype of a top prospect. Nikolov also boasts one of the better nicknames on the card, going by “Captain Loco.”
Jude Forder will be participating in his first bout in over three years. Coming off of a unanimous decision loss at bantamweight, Forder hopes the move down to flyweight will do him well. Forder will look to show the improvements made during his time away from competition and get in the win column.
If this bout is anything like Nikolov’s last fight, it will be all action from the opening bell. Given Forder’s urgency and need for a victory, it will surely be a fun fight for the Almighty FC viewers to get a glimpse at the future of the flyweights.
