A round of two tales to start. Grappling versus striking. Amir Albazi does well and forces the fight to his preferred domain. Holding down the dangerous Brazilian he has heavy top control and prevents Figgy from doing damage.
Back on their feet, Figueiredo begins to land. However, that doesn’t last long. Albazi once again gets the fight to the ground. He then quickly finds a transition to his opponent’s back. Locking in a submission at immense speed, he gets the rear naked choke to win.
What a performance from the rising Albazi. Ranked 11 before the fight the only way is up. Getting the round one finish he made it look easy.
