In a recent post on social media, Anthony Joshua has shown off his huge frame ahead of the rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua is currently training and is looking to avenge his defeat to Usyk. The Ukrainian defeated Joshua at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium back in September of 2021.
Joshua’s rematch with Usyk is now set to take place on August 20. Originally, there were plans for the pair to go head to head on July 23. The pair will fight in Saudi Arabia, with Anthony desperate to reclaim his titles.
Anthony Joshua Shows off Big Frame Ahead of Usyk Rematch
Over the weekend, Joshua took to social media to show off his huge frame as training is well under way.
Speaking to the BBC, promoter Eddie Hearn said: “I can finally say that you will get an official announcement next week.
“Sometimes I say to you hopefully the next two weeks, hopefully this.
“The paperwork is done, the fight is on, and you will get an official announcement early next week.
“I think he just understands that in a fight of this magnitude, things do take time.
“It’s taken time but we’re in a great place. He’s been training throughout, so has Oleksandr Usyk. AJ is more confident than I’ve ever seen him going into a fight. We believe he’s going to win the fight,
“it’s a massive fight, and finally we can announce it and it’ll be a big sigh of relief when we do because people can stop asking me when.
Asked if Joshua will leave Sky Sports, he replied: “We’ll make an announcement on that following the fight announcement. We’ve been working hard, but when Anthony Joshua became a broadcast free agent, the whole world wanted him.
“Of course Sky wanted to continue their relationship with him, DAZN wanted to come in and make a game-changing move in the sport, other platforms as well.
“So we have to also make a decision on that and that will be announced following the fight announcement.
“First things first, let’s get that fight announcement and then Anthony’s long-term broadcast future will also be announced I would think next week, but that decision will also be made by Anthony, myself, 258 and the entire team.”
However, it’s now confirmed that Joshua has teamed up with DAZN ahead of his showdown with Usyk.
