At the moment, Anthony Joshua is rebuilding his career back to the title picture. After two tough losses to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua is on a two-fight win streak. He will rack up as many victories as possible to show he deserves another title shot. Joshua’s manager, KD, has revealed that he is training with Ben Davison, who has previously coached Tyson Fury.
The Career Of Anthony Joshua
Joshua has been the face of British boxing for many years now. The British fighter is a former two-time heavyweight champion. He has beaten many names throughout his career, such as Dillian Whyte, Andy Ruiz, and Joseph Parker. He has a tremendous ability to knock his opponents out. He is hoping to get more statement wins as he looks to become champion for a third time. The addition of Davison should hopefully help that.
Joshua And Davison
Davison played a vital role in Fury’s monumental comeback in 2018. He will be looking to help Joshua reach his potential just like he did with Fury. Joshua’s manager, KD, spoke to Boxing Social about the partnership.
“Anthony Joshua wants to be very active,” KD told Boxing King Media.
“He’s currently ticking over and down at the Ben Davison Performance Centre. He’s ticking over with Ben [and] Jamie TKV – we had him in our camps in Dallas a couple of times.
“So, he’s still active. When he’s got a date, you’ll see him back out in Dallas with Derrick James continuing the work.”
What’s Next
When thinking about what is next for Joshua, for a while, it looked like he would be fighting Deontay Wilder. However, it seems like talks of the fight have broken down. KD elaborated on what was next for Joshua.
“His message to us was, ‘ I want to fight three times within the year.’
“His first of the year was in April; we’ve got until April [2024] to get the public three fights within twelve months.
“I won’t give December – Eddie was giving December – but I will say Anthony Joshua wants to be very active.”

Joshua is a great boxer, and it would be good to see him fighting for belts in the not-too-distant future.
