Within the next 12 days, the date and rematch for Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk are set to be confirmed.
Eddie Hearn, AJ’s promoter, believes that the former heavyweight champion will be disappointed with the outcome.
This is due to the fact that he may not have a home advantage. Hearn was eager to book the rematch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Speaking to the Mirror, Hearn said: “If contracts and site fees that have been offered come to fruition, it would make going to the UK very difficult for us to get Usyk to do, quite frankly.”
Hearn understands why Usyk may not want to return to England.
“Why would I bother going back to England for half the money?”
“We can’t take a site that pays significantly less to Usyk. We want to go to London, it would be a big advantage for AJ to take this fight back to London, but if a site fee generates double the money, there’s no way Usyk will allow us to go to London. So we do have to take that into consideration, but AJ just wants to fight.”
Both Hearn and Usyk promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, are looking to strike a deal soon.
As of right now, the pair will go head to head in either June or July this year.
“We’ve had a number of offers and dates,” Hearn said. “We’re going through the contracts at the moment and we’ll see where it will be, but I think two weeks to sort everything out is a good yardstick.”
Currently, Usyk is training in Poland after he travelled back to his native Ukraine to help fight in the war against Russia.
