Arman Tsarukyan defeated Beneil Dariush in Austin, Texas last night and reveals that his own victory wasn’t the only one that he enjoyed.
One could argue that Arman Tsarukyan actually spent more time fighting Bobby Green this past week than he did against his own opponent. Dariush and Tsarukyan showed respect to one another in the build up to their bout, whilst Bobby Green and Jailin Turner followed suit.
The same could not be said for Tsarukyan and Green though.
Arman Tsarukyan & Bobby Green Ignites
Bobby Green took to social media to expose the initial confrontation. The footage showed Tsarukyan getting in Green’s face, something which Green did not take kindly to. ‘King’ pushed Tsarukyan back but was met with a push to the throat from the main eventer.
The two clashed once more, this time, it was Green who was the aggressor. Things then escalated as members of both teams clashed but the fighters dispersed and the situation was calmed.
Green KO’d as Tsarukyan Watches On
When fight night came around, Arman Tsarukyan picked up his biggest win to-date as he made a statement against Beneil Dariush to fire his way into the top five rankings. For Bobby Green, it was a night to forget. Jailin Turner showed up on late-notice and delivered a statement knockout, something which delighted an onlooking Tsarukyan.
When asked about Bobby Green in the post-fight presser, Tsarukyan said, “He was talking s**t about me. I just came and asked him, ‘Bro, don’t talk s**t about me, because if you’re going to talk s**t, we’ve got to meet and talk’.
Tsarukyan isn’t planning to hold a grudge but admits, he would be happy if he never sees Bobby Green again. Tsarukyan continued, “He pushed me. I pushed him. That’s it. Done. Hopefully I’m not going to see him again in my life.”
Finally, Tsarukyan admitted, “I was super, super happy when his head was bouncing on the canvas”.

Makhachev or Gaethje Next?
The main event didn’t last too long. In fact, the fight only lasted over a minute in total. Tsarukyan looked sharp as he put Dariush away in double quick time and the victor was only looking to fight the lightweight division’s very best next.
In the immediate aftermath, Tsarukyan called for the title shot in what would see the champion Islam Makhachev face off once more with his former foe. Tsarukyan lost an incredibly close decision to Makhachev in his UFC debut and his since shown he belongs at the top. Tsarukyan also admitted that a matchup against the ‘BMF’ title holder, Justin Gaethje would interest him.
Whatever comes next for Tsarukyan, it is sure to be big, and after a performance like he showed on Saturday night, it sure to be one that isn’t to be missed.
