UFC Hall of Famer B.J Penn Shares Conspiracy to Instagram Claiming His Mother Has Been Murdered
B.J Penn, UFC Hall of Famer, has sparked controversy after his latest Instagram posts. In the posts he shared two videos claiming that his mother Lorraine Shin, had been murdered and replaced with an imposter.
In the first video Penn filmed himself before turning the camera on his mother, insisting she was not who she claims to be:
“This lady right here, look at her ass and legs. She is acting like my 79-year-old mother, but she is not my 79-year-old mother,” Penn said. He further claimed that his family’s house was being targeted:
“And it’s interesting when you Google ‘Lorraine Abile,’ our house pops up, ’cause this lady acts like Lorraine Inouye. So, you Google ‘Lorraine Abile,’ and this house pops up, and then you look, and my mom’s name starts popping up.”
Penn further accused Paul Abiley and Carlos Riveira of conspiring with the government to murder his mother and brother. He wrote in the caption of the post:
“F*ck the Abiley Family. Paul Abiley (Carlos Riveira) with the help of the government murdered my mom and brother!!!! Like & Share. They are trying to steal everything from my family.”
“… She’s trying to steal everything, and this is not my mother. And I’m putting this out because she’s saying she’s going to get an attorney and try to do something. She’s trying to throw me out and if I attack her, she’ll try to do something, TRO (temporary restraining order) or something else.”
In the second video he repeats the same allegations without any footage of himself captioned:
“Hilo police, this lady is not Lorraine shin! She is at our Penn family house right now #hawaii,”
While his MMA legacy remains legendary, he hasn’t shied away from controversy since retiring. From DUI arrests to bar brawls (which led to his UFC release) Penn stays in the headlines, for the wrong reasons.
His recent spouts of conspiracy theories have made fans concerned for his well-being. Many speculate his recent controversies may due to CTE developed from his lengthy fighting career.
