A recent announcement from Bellator MMA certified the promotions return to the 3Arena in Dublin. Friday, September 23rd, is the official date.
Irish fans have grown close to some of their biggest Bellator stars, such as Sinead Kavanagh and Peter Queally. The promotion will return to Ireland’s capital for the third time in a year.
Bellator’s official confirmation tweet stated that Kavanagh and Queally would be featured on the card. Although, no fights for the two have been announced.

Bellator 275. The last event at the 3Arena came as recently as February 25th. The card was headlined by Middleweight Champion Gegard Mousasi, and Austin Vanderford. The co-main event featured former teammates Leah McCourt and Sinead Kavanagh, Kavanagh coming out the winner via Unanimous Decision. Furthermore, fellow Irish fighters on the card included: Ciaran Clarke, Brian Moore and Lee Hammond.
Bellator 270. On November 5th 2021, Bellator returned to Dublin for the first time since the pandemic. Peter Queally fought Patricky in their rematch in the main event, Pitbull leaving victorious via 2nd round TKO. Patchy Mix defeated James Gallagher in the co-main in a big upset. In the prelims, Ciaran Clarke and Danni McCormack were able to add wins to their record in Bellator’s long-awaited Ireland return.
Bellator 240. Featherweights Leah McCourt and Judith Ruis headlined Bellator 240. McCourt picked up a victory in her first Bellator headliner with a unanimous decision win. In addition, Ireland’s Charlie Ward found success on the card with a TKO victory over Kyle Kurtz. Also, common Bellator Dublin star Ciaran Clarke grabbed his second pro win on the card.
