Benoit Saint-Denis wins via TKO at UFC Paris as the first Frenchman to compete on home soil ever.
Round One
A crazy first round sees Benoit Saint-Denis start with a huge body kick. A brief ground exchange doesn’t last long and both men are back in space. Now on the feet, it turns into a brawl. Both Benoit and Gabriel trade massive blows.
Spinning elbow lands for Saint-Denis but Miranda takes it well. He throws it for the second time and Gabriel Miranda opts to grapple. He shoots the takedowns but ends up on the bottom.
Once again the fight ends up on the feet and Benoit lands a huge left hand to drop the Brazilian. Now on top, he rains down ferocious ground and pound as the French crowd roars.
The round ends with Saint-Denis landing another huge shot that drops Gabriel and some more ground strikes.
The Finish
Benoit Saint-Denis starts doing two like a rocket and wastes no time. After hurting his opponent late, he hurts him early. Landing at will once again, 16 seconds into the second round he drops his opponent for the third time and completes the performance with vicious ground and pound.
