BKFC 41: Perry vs. Rockhold
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) returns for BKFC 41 this Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Live from the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo.
Featuring a blockbuster main event between former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and former UFC welterweight contender Mike Perry.
Rockhold (16-6 MMA, 0-0 BKFC) is making his bare-knuckle debut after a successful career in mixed martial arts.
The 38-year-old California native is a former Strikeforce and UFC middleweight champion, and he holds notable wins over Michael Bisping, Lyoto Machida, and Chris Weidman.
Perry (14-8 MMA, 2-0 BKFC), is a former Welterweight contender for the UFC.
Coming off an impressive decision victory over Bellator staple and dangerous striker Michael” Venom” Page at BKFC 27 back in August of 2022.
The 31-year-old Florida native is known for his exciting fighting style and his willingness to brawl, but he has struggled with consistency throughout his career.
This is an excellent matchup between two former UFC stars who are looking to make a splash in the world of bare-knuckle boxing.
Rockhold is the more skilled fighter, but Perry is the more powerful puncher.
This fight is sure to be an exciting one, and it could be the start of a new chapter in both fighters’ careers.
Other Main Card Bouts
In the co-main event, former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez makes his BKFC debut against former UFC featherweight title challenger Chad Mendes.
Alvarez (30-8 MMA, 0-0 BKFC) is a former Bellator and UFC lightweight champion, and he is one of the most decorated fighters in the history of the sport.
Mendes (18-5 MMA, 1-0 BKFC) is a former UFC featherweight title challenger and is coming off a 4th-round KO/TKO victory against Joshuah Alvarez at BKFC: Knucklemania 2 back in February of 2022.
This is an excellent matchup between two former UFC stars who are looking to make a statement.
The BKFC 41 main card also features a flyweight title fight between champion Christine Ferea and challenger Bec Rawlings.
Ferea (1-2 MMA, 6-1 BKFC) is the current BKFC flyweight champion and is on a six-fight winning streak.
Rawlings (8-9 MMA, 3-1 BKFC) is a former UFC strawweight contender and is looking to make a statement in this BKFC Championship bout.
