Former UFC and current BKFC fighter Mike Perry was recently arrested for driving under the influence in Florida.
Mike Perry Arrested for DUI
According to the records from the Lake County Sheriff’s office, Mike Perry was arrested by the Clermont Police Department. This was at 1:04 am on October 12th for driving under the influence and refusing to sign a citation requiring a court appearance. The current BKFC star was then booked into jail at 4:36 am and was then released after posting $1,500 bail at 9:41 am. Mike Perry is scheduled to appear in court on October 30th. Perry is currently facing a potential punishment of up to 60 days in jail for the charges, both of which are second-degree misdemeanours in Florida. This was Mike Perry’s first DUI offence, according to the court records.
Mike Perry has started to emerge as one of BKFC’s biggest stars over the last couple of years. This is after he has been able to go 5-0 in the promotion. Not only is that record impressive he has been able to get wins over notable names as well. This has included Michael Page, Eddie Alvarez, Luke Rockhold and Thiago Alves all in the BKFC competition. Most recently he went into Boxing when he faced off against Jake Paul in July 2024. Jake Paul was able to get the stoppage victory in the 6th round.
Before heading into BKFC he was signed with the UFC. During his UFC skint he was able to go 7-8 between 2016 and 2021. His last appearance in the UFC was in April 2021. Mike Perry was unsuccessful that evening when he lost to Daniel Rodriguez by a unanimous decision.
