Bo Nickal Issues Brutal Reply to Being Called Out After UFC Vegas 102
Bo Nickal released a crushing response to Andre Petroski’s UFC Vegas 102 call-out. After Petroski got his hand raised in a low-volume striking match against Rodolfo Vieira, Petroski called for Nickal to be his next opponent, an excellent name call. Nickal replied to Petroski savagely via a post on X:
“I’d love to get an easy check, but the fans say I can’t fight cans anymore.”
Where is Bo Nickal?
“Where is Bo Nickal?” roared from Petroski’s lips as he gave his post-fight speech. Daniel Cormier asked Petroski who he wanted next inside the cage, and Nickal is the name he gave in response. Even though it was not a high-paced striking battle and wrestling was canceled out on both sides, Petroski still fought his way to a decision win over one of the division’s most decorated grapplers. Both Petroski and Nickal are amazing on the ground but leave a lot to be desired in terms of output in the stand-up department. Nickal cracked the division’s top 15 following Shara Bullet’s fall from grace against MVP. This fight against Petroski could be just the buzz Nickal is looking for to erase the brand left by UFC 309’s fight with Paul Craig.
UFC 309 Performance Leaves Nickal Branded “Overrated”
Nickal’s UFC 309 outing against Paul “BearJew” Craig did not go as well as Nickal and his team had planned. Nickal walked away with the decision victory over Craig at UFC 309, yet fans were underwhelmed. The chant of overrated filled the arena as Nickal struggled to finish Craig on the feet. The commentary team spoke about comments Nickal had made about beating middleweight stand-out Khamzat Chimaev. As a collective, the three agreed with the performance Nickal was giving at UFC 309 that he would be biting off more than he could chew by challenging Chimaev. Former UFC Middleweight Darren Till even joined in on X, posting how his friend Chimaev would destroy Bo Nickal in a fight.
Nickal Wants to Fight on UFC 314
Ironically enough, Nickal is the person who leaked the potential main event for UFC 314. Nickal spoke about wanting an opponent for Topuria vs. Volkanovski 2 that could take place in Miami, Florida, later this year. It seems as if an opponent is looking for Nickal as well, with Petroski on the hunt for a ranking. If Nickal needs a dance partner, Petroski is willing and waiting.
