Shore MMA teammates Brett Johns and Scott Pedersen are looking to stand out on a stacked Bellator Dublin card on Friday night.
Bantamweight Johns, a former Cage Warriors champion and UFC competitor, is making his second walk to the Bellator cage. Whilst Pedersen will be making his debut under his new promotion.
Brett Johns v Khurshed Kakhorov at Bellator Dublin
Brett ohns will face off against the undefeated Khurshed Kakhorov at the 3Arena in Dublin. Days out and coming off a loss in his debut back in May of last year, he’ll be looking to make a statement this time around.
The former Cage Warriors champion fought in seven UFC bouts, winning five and only losing to top-dogs Aljamain Sterling and Pedro Munhoz. His record currently stands at 17-3, with eight of those wins coming by way of finish.
Scott Pedersen v Nathan Kelly
Pedersen, who had an excellent amateur career, will be making his debut on Friday night after moving from Cage Warriors. With a pro record of 1-2 and a desire to get started in a big way, keep your eyes on this young Welshman.
He’ll be facing a fellow debutant in Ireland, Nathan Kelly. Kelly comes into this bout on the back of a three-fight win streak, all coming in 2021.
