Muhammad Mokeav is a rising star in the UFC due to his spectacular performances inside the octagon. The 23-year-old has taken the flyweight division by storm and is one of the hottest prospects in the UFC today. He’s coming off a submission victory against Tim Elliott. After the fight, he called his shot to be the backup fighter for the upcoming flyweight title clash between Alexandre Pantoja and Brandon Royval at UFC 296.
Muhammed Mokeav Vs Tim Elliott
Mokeav has taken the UFC by storm, as he is a gigantic force inside the cage. He has never lost a fight, and that doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon. Mokeav is an extremely well-rounded fighter who is very durable. He seems to have all the tools to become a champion in the UFC. As previously stated, he is coming off a win against Elliott, which Mokeav won by submission in the third round. It was another excellent win for the rising star and may put in in line for a huge fight. In the post-fight press conference, Mokaev talked about the win.
“Amazing emotions,” Mokaev said of his win over Elliott. “I feel thrilled. I still don’t believe I’ve put in my full performance yet. They tried to bully me. They don’t try to fight me with fight IQ. These guys think, ‘OK, this young, overhyped, fifth time overhyped inside the UFC octagon …’ They don’t work smart. That’s why I have to grind them out.”
Mokeav Wants The Flyweight Title
Now, he has many great options regarding his next opponent, but it seems he only has a title on his mind.
“I’m ready,” Mokaev told reporters at the UFC 296 post-fight press conference. “I’ve never missed weight – even in my debut against Cody Durden, I made championship weight. I can make it. If they want, I can be back up – whatever fight they want.”

Mokaev looks to be an excellent fighter, and a title shot seems to be a matter of when, not if.
