Brooklyn Thomas enters his Almighty Fighting Championship 28 title fight filled with confidence.
Thomas is hopeful of capturing Almighty FC gold on 26th November in Barnsley when he squares off with Adam Butterworth. The 5-0 fighter is yet to face any trouble inside the Octagon, having dominated all his amateur outings thus far.
Butterworth is Thomas’s toughest test to date, but he believes he’ll pass with flying colours.
We had the opportunity of speaking with Brooklyn Thomas ahead of fight night. Check out the full interview below.
Interview With Brooklyn Thomas
You posted on Instagram, “Three weeks until I take that belt”. What makes you the man to take the belt away from Adam Butterworth at Almighty Fighting Championship 28?
I will take the belt because I believe I am the better well-rounded fighter and that there isn’t anything he can do to stop me from being victorious.
You’ve always come in great shape, well-prepared, and ready to go, but have you altered your camp/preparations in any way with your upcoming fight being a title fight? If so, how?
I have kept my camp the same as I always do, the team I have around me is perfect for me, and that’s why I will come away with the win.
Thomas Discusses Amateur Success
A perfect record so far, with perfect performances to back it up. What do you put the success you’ve found in your amateur career down to?
It’s all down to hard work and dedication to the sport, just showing up every day and believing in myself.
Adam is a tough opponent and an experienced one at that. Do you feel this is the biggest test you’ve faced to date?
Yeah, Adam is good on the ground, he is the most experienced guy I’ve fought, but for me, he causes no problems on the feet or on the ground.
Having watched tape on your opponent. Where do his strengths and weaknesses lie?
He is a well-rounded guy, but I’d say he is stronger on the floor.
Lastly, can you leave us with your official fight prediction? How does Brooklyn Thomas dethrone Adam Butterworth in three weeks?
I will win by whatever means necessary.
