Bryce Mitchell Struggles with Loss
Speaking to Okamoto, Mitchell admitted that what he said came from a place of anger and irrationality.
“I wasn’t saying the most intelligent stuff. When you’re in that state you gotta realise you’re not being completely normal. You’re not thinking rational. I was really mad” said Mitchell.
With the confidence of an undefeated fighter, Mitchell entered the Octagon fired up and rearing to go. Unfortunately when in the cage, he found himself sluggish and exhausted.
“I was tired immediately when the fight started” said Bryce. “if that’s the best I could do, I’d retire. But I know I can do better and after thinking about it and knowing how much better I could’ve done, I got a different opinion about the fight.”
