The bill will be topped by a Bantamweight championship clash. As Dominique Wooding takes on Italy’s own Michele Martignoni. Also on the bill will be former Featherweight champion Morgan Charriere.
Alongside these three there have been five other names announced for the card. An all-Italian contingent makes up the rest of the fighters so far. The fighters are as follows, Federico Pasquali, Emanuele Sabatino, Dylan Hazan, Carlo Pedersoli and finally Micol Di Segni.
All exciting names this event is already shaping up to be a good one. With Cage Warriors‘ track record at producing the goods, this event will be a sure-fire banger.
Cage Warriors 144 – Why Italy?
Not only is it always in a company’s best interest to expand and explore new horizons. It’s also good when that nation’s fighters are doing business in the cage. With plenty of Italians on the books, so far this year the nation has gone 9-0 in the CW cage.
Some who are right at the top of the division, it’s no surprise Italy is a stop on the map this year. Having the likes of Marvin Vettori carrying the flag at the highest level. His rise to the upper echelon of the sport has been huge for the country.
Beginning to put themselves on the map as an MMA hotbed. Expect Italy to shine in the upcoming years as a place to be and compete. This card could just be the start of a great relationship between Cage Warriors and Italy.
