The grudge match is official. Both champion Jordan Vucenic and interim title holder Paul Hughes successfully made weight for their title unification matchup at Cage Warriors 145.
Vucenic hit the featherweight championship limit at 145lbs for the second defence of his featherweight title, while Hughes came in slightly under the champion at 144.6lbs. Both men seek to unify the Cage Warriors featherweight championship in this epic rematch two years in the making.
Former Cage Warriors Champions Lee Chadwick and Modestas Bukauskas also make weight ahead of their main matchup. Chadwick hit championship weight at 205lbs, while Bukauskas came in well under at 202.7lbs for their light-heavyweight contest.
Tensions between bantamweight contenders Caolan Loughran (135.7lbs) and former flyweight champion Luke Shanks (135.6lbs) hit a boiling point as the pair got physical ahead of the main card opener.

Festus Ahorlu had complications with his weight cut and informed Cage Warriors staff that he would be unable to make the contracted weight for his fight with Faisal Malik. As a result, the bout is officially off. Cage Warriors 145 will continue with a 10-fight card on Friday, November 4th.
