Chasen Blair is making the trip across the Atlantic looking to make it back-to-back wins.

Blair will face off against Artūrs Leisāns to make it back-to-back wins this weekend at Cage Warriors 172. Chasen Blair is making a return after being able to get back into the win column last time out.
Chasen Blair is one of many college wrestlers to make the step into MMA. Blair started his MMA career as a professional and signed his first contract with Cage Warriors. Blair made his debut at Cage Warriors 136 in Manchester, England where he was able to knock out Rickie Moore in the first round. He then returned to Cage Warriors 139 where he was able to once again able to secure the finish. This time Chasen Blair was able to secure the victory due to a right hook in the 2nd round.
However, Chasen Blair then suffered his first defeat at Cage Warriors 143 against Jeffery Craig. Jeffery was able to clinch the victory due to a split decision and took the 0 from Chasen Blair. However, Chasen was able to come back stronger and was able to knock out Helio Hernandez after only 12 seconds due to a right hook.
Chasen then welcomed Ahmad Suhail Hassanzada into the octagon. However, Hassanzada was able to spoil the party when he was able to submit Chasen Blair in the first round. This was due to a knee bar. However, Chasen Blair was able to get back to the win column when he faced Orlando Sanders in the first round.
Cage Warriors 172
Cage Warriors will be stopping off in Newcastle on May 25th 2024. The featherweight title is on the line when Harry Hardwick takes on Orlando Wilson Prins. Orlando is stepping into this fight as Zafar Mohsen was forced to withdraw from the fight and Orlando’s original fight also fell through he has stepped in to fight for the vacant title.
Also fighting on the card Kennedy Freeman will look to improve to 5-0 when she takes on Gisele Libânio. Kennedy enjoys keeping the fight on the feet and throughout her whole career has 3 wins due to knockout and the other 6 wins due to decision. Another fighter to watch on Saturday is James Power. James Power is a striker who has 5 of his 6 professional wins due to knockout.
