As UFC Atlantic City gets closer, Combat Sports UK’s Ben Thomas had the opportunity to speak with rising Irish star Caolan Loughran in an exclusive interview about his upcoming bout against Angel Pacheco on March 30, 2024.
Loughran discussed many topics with Ben, ranging from training to his UFC debut in enemy territory, Paris, France.
It is always interesting to get inside the mind of a fighter when they discuss training. Rising star Caolan Loughran seems to have accepted that training is his life. Acquiring and building his tools inside the gym makes Loughran a very tough prospect moving forward.
“This is the life I like to live. This is the structure – morning, night in the gym – sore on you but it’s the life.”
From the interview you can watch the passion and love Loughran has for the legendary MMA company, the UFC.
“Still the UFC has been my favorite moment of my life,” he said.
“The UFC to me is the pinnacle. Like, I wouldn’t swap fighting in the UFC for playing on the wing for Liverpool or being CEO of the biggest job in the world. A UFC fighter is literally my dream.”
