Caolan Loughran vs. Luke Shanks
Caolan Loughran (6-0-0) will try and keep his perfect professional record when he takes on Luke Shanks in November.
After winning his previous two fights in Cage Warriors via TKO, the Irishman is clearly a contender to keep a close eye on. Caolan’s first two Cage Warriors battles were no easy challenges. Though, he handed both Bakhtyaar Oryakhail and Festus Ahorlu their first professional losses when he beat them.
Before joining Cage Warriors, Loughran gathered three finishes in the promotion ‘Probellum’ and also a win in Levels Fight League.
He also flashes an impressive amateur record of 8-2-0, in which he fought some of the UK’s best talent today.
He and his squad at Team Kaobon will be hoping for another finish in November.
Luke Shanks (10-3-0) is on a two fight finish streak of his own. He finished recently finished Josh Reed via 1st round rear naked choke, and in December of 2021 knocked out Sam Creasey in the same round.
He first fought with Cage Warriors back in 2018, and since then has built up a record of 6-2 in the promotion.
Luke has wins on other notable promotions such as Budo, ACB and Almighty FC, and looks like one of Higher Level Martial Arts finest at the minute.
To add to the stakes, both men could find themselves in the grasp of a shot at the title should they win, with 3 wins in a row looking like a deserving number.
With an 83% finish rate and a 60% finish rate respectively, there’s no doubt that these two will bring the fire to Cage Warriors upcoming London show.
