Charles looked incredible in his first fight of the year. Coming to the centre of the cage and meeting Flick head-on, he used front kicks to the body to keep the wrestling of his opponent at bay.
The fight did eventually hit the mat, due to a Flick takedown. However, Johnson reversed position and gained top control immediately. Landing blows the fight got back to the feet, where Johnson hurt Flick several times.
The finish came on the mat after Johnson once again reversed position. Raining down blows the red saw enough after a brutal elbow split the head of Flick.
