Scottish fan favourite Chris Bungard has recently announced the signing of a five-fight contract with UK MMA leaders Cage Warriors. It is a move that is being well received across the MMA community, who cant wait to see “The Badguy” compete.

The ever-popular fighter has applied his trade in many places. From the TV screen to the football pitch and even a professional wrestling ring. Due to these efforts. He had built up one of the regional scene’s most rabid fanbases. As a result of this, Bungard managed to host his own event. He hosted and competed on the card in his own stomping grounds, Holytown.
“The Badguy” comes into the promotion of the back of a submission victory over Aratz Garmendia. It was the 16th win of his decade long fighting career. Long seen as one of the most exciting Scottish fighters, he has competed all over the UK, including a five-fight stint in Bellator.
Bungard was in attendance for the Cage Warriors 134, in which Jordan Vucenic defended his Featherweight title in the main event. After his weekend in London, he announced his signing, attending the Cage Warriors and UFC events. The 33-year-old also let on that they would be aiming for Belfast in June as his first fight date.
The Scottish Hit Squad fighter is well known for his vicious finishing abilities. It will be a most welcome challenger entering the fray in the Cage Warriors lightweight division.
