A featherweight clash between Ireland’s Ciarán Clarke and Scotland’s Keir Harvie is set to go down in Dublin next February. First reported by Andy Stevenson.
In September, Scott Coker announced Bellator Dublin for February 24th 2023. He promised an ‘amazing fight card’ along with this announcement, and we seemingly have our first barnburner for the card.
Undefeated prospect Ciarán Clarke looks set to take on Higher Level Martial Arts’ Keir Harvie. Clarke will look to impress the Dublin crowd again, as he did last time out at Bellator 285.
Ciarán Clarke vs Keir Harvie
Ciarán Clarke (6-0-0) should be no stranger to Bellator fans, as his impressive 6 fight win streak in the promotion only seems to be growing.
Clarke began his amateur MMA career in 2013, and continued it up until 2018. Ciarán then burst onto the pro scene and racked up 3 wins in the space of just over a year.
The Irishman has 3 wins recorded via rear naked choke, proving himself as a huge submission threat once he takes his opponents back.
In his most recent fight, Clarke submitted Rafael Hudson in round 3. Ciarán has also recorded wins over Jordan Barton and Jean N’Doye.
Keir Harvie (5-2-1) will make his Bellator debut against Clarke.
Harvie began his pro career in 2018, and went on a 3 fight win streak to kickstart his career. He was later able to grab a win over then-undefeated Manny Akpan at Cage Warriors 123 in London.
Recently, Keir has been fighting under South African MMA promotion EFC. His record in the promotion currently stands at 1-1-1. His most recent bout against Vince Bembe ended in a draw.
