“The competition environment at WWE is different from what people might expect… Someone like him, who’s competed at the highest level in so many incredible fights, maybe it’s time to explore the more entertainment side of sports. I think he’d be great at it.”

Although that match didn’t happen, the Irishman’s remarks kept fans buzzing about a potential WWE crossover. Rhodes believes McGregor’s natural charisma and combat background would resonate with WWE’s audience, possibly giving rise to some unforgettable moments.
