Sixteen top competitors in the division battled it out in a stacked lineup, all vying for the title. In addition to the world championship tournament bracket, the event also featured a pair of superfights, one of which saw Bellator and PFL veteran Ian Butler fall to Angel Villegas in EBI overtime, while Mike John secured a submission victory over Jacob Small in regulation time.
However, it was Andrew Tackett who stole the show, submitting his first three opponents in just 6 minutes and 15 seconds, including a standout performance against Davis Asare. His opponent in the final, Alan Sanchez, was equally impressive, submitting all three of his opponents in an even quicker 3 minutes and 44 seconds.
