Nowadays, the Irish MMA legend Conor McGregor‘s family resides in Las Vegas. As McGregor clashes with Michael Chandler in the new season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, his family of three children and his fiancé, made the switch alongside him. Yet apparently, their woes are not limited to the simple, accustomed troubles of moving house.
A school shooting made the headlines on Monday, while taking the lives of three children and three adults in Nashville. In the light of the tragic event, ‘Mystic Mac’ stated that he hired an armed guard to provide protection to the school which his kids study in. In a tweet, McGregor claimed that if the incident would’ve transpired in his children’s school, the aforementioned guard would’ve been able to take the shooter down.
Conor McGregor on US School Shooting
“Just got an ‘Amber alert’ to my phone while here in Orlando,” McGregor said. “A smart and quick set up that alerts everyone there is a child missing and with full description and detail also. Very smart. I would like to see armed protection at each school also. I have had my children at school here while stateside and have had my own armed guard present at the school. This was prior to the most recent school shooting also. If she shot her way in to that school from the outside, my guard, who is tucked away, armed and unseen, would have seen her and taken her down. Saving those children’s lives. May God and his best people on this earth protect our children!”

McGregor called to the authorities to provide armed protection in every school in the country. While having his say in one of the highly controversial matters in U.S politics, he ended his tweet with a prayer.“May God and his best people on this Earth, protect our children !
He also praised the ‘Amber Alert’ system of the country to the skies, defining it as ‘very smart’. The Alert issues a warning, broadcasted via cell phones, whenever an abduction of a child is suspected.
The former double champ doesn’t have the hardest of times, while providing protection to his most beloved beings. Yet unfortunately, not everyone has the financial opportunities to do so.
McGregor’s set to face Chandler after ‘The Ultimate Fighter’s season finale in a highly anticipated bout. Yet it’s clear that he doesn’t feel the safety of his home in the fight capital of the world. So it’s safe to say that McGregor family’s stay in Vegas will be kept short as much as possible.
