Notorious superstar Conor McGregor is yet to compete into the octagon in 2023 but of course has been involved in the MMA scene all year.
Since the announcement and release of the TUF 31 Season McGregor has been calling for almost every lightweight and anyone involved with the BMF belt, most recently won by Justin Gaethje at UFC 291. With the TUF 31 season heading towards a climax the UFC looked to pencil in a date for the fight between coaches McGregor and Chandler but it has proven a tough test particularly as McGregor’s interests appear to change on a daily basis.
Conor McGregor Calling for the BMF
Twitter has been a playground for McGregor with numerous voice notes over the years providing entertainment to fans the most recent being a call out about being “a bad man”
“I’m a bad man, a bad bad man. A bad bad man. The baddest. I’m the baddest man that has ever stepped foot in that f***ing Octagon, yeah? Think the absolute baddest you can think, and then think of me looking down on him. That bad.”

Dana White remains adamant that when the Irishman does return the man stood across the Octagon from him will be Michael Chandler. Following that matchup there are endless possibilities at both welterweight and lightweight, McGregor remains the prized asset of the company and will undoubtedly find himself fighting for some form of title with a victory. The BMF belt is most likely the next destination due to the landscape of both lightweight and welterweight titles being quite clear. The lightweight gold will be on the line at UFC 294 and rumours are that British champion Leon Edwards will be facing Colby Covington at UFC 295.
If McGregor is victorious against Chandler who will we see him face next?
