This Tuesday afternoon, there was buzz in the air as UFC CEO Dana White revealed plans for the promotion’s return to England in 2024, promising another epic numbered PPV event.
For months, speculations circulated about whether the UFC would choose London or Manchester as the host city. While the location remains undisclosed, anticipation continues to build among UK fight fans.
With homegrown champions like Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall, the UK’s MMA scene is thriving. Both champions are gearing up for their return to the octagon this summer, adding to the excitement surrounding the upcoming event.
Last year, the UFC treated English fans to two memorable events, including Leon Edwards‘ title defence against Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 and Tom Aspinall’s triumphant comeback from injury. Both events took place at the iconic o2 Arena in London, a favourite venue for UFC events in the UK.

Despite calls from Edwards and Aspinall for stadium shows, Dana White has yet to commit to the idea. However, he hinted at the significance of hosting certain fights in England, emphasizing the appeal of the UK market.
In a recent interview with TNT Sports, Dana White expressed his enthusiasm for the UFC’s return to the UK, highlighting the talent pool in the region:
“We have these teams that build all their different pieces to these puzzles then we come together with me and I start trying to fit the pieces together. We had these fights going on that we were like ‘Wait we’re going to do this (fight) where?’ no we’re going to England,” he stated.
While details about specific matchups are still under wraps, Dana White assured fans that the event would be a numbered PPV, promising an unforgettable fight night experience:
“I got great fights lined up for the UK fans, and I’m excited to get back there. I haven’t been to England in a minute, and I’m excited to get back there. Literally days (the official announcement will come), we’re right there working on the stuff, we got some badass plans for England. Numbered card, PPV, a great one,” Dana White revealed.
