Dana White has provided an update on Conor McGregor’s potential comeback, but it might disappoint those anticipating the Irishman’s return.
McGregor has been out of action since his last appearance in the octagon in 2021 against Dustin Poirier, where he suffered a leg injury in the final moments of the first round. Thus, forcing him to the sidelines. Now, three years after that incident, McGregor appears fully recovered and prepared for a comeback.
Speculations suggest that McGregor, also known as ‘Mystic Mac,’ could face Michael Chandler at UFC 300. The two served as rival coaches on the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. But unlike the show’s tradition, a fight between them has not materialized yet. Fans were optimistic after McGregor posted a video hinting at a potential clash with ‘Iron’ at middleweight.
