Dana White Contender Series will return tonight for week 2. This is after an incredible group of prospects took to the octagon last week looking to make it into the UFC. We saw returning fighters like Bruno Lopes right the wrongs of last time and get the UFC contract. We also saw the future in Lone’er Kavanagh being able to secure a knockout victory and achieve a contract. Just like last time we will see returning fighters in Torrez Finney and newcomers like Pat Pytlik look to try and get a UFC contract from Dana White.
Dana White Contender Series Card
Pat Pytlik (9-1) vs Andreas Gustafsson (10-2)
Fight breakdown: Pat Pytlik is a fighter who has been able to get a 9-1 record with all 9 of his victories coming due a knockout. Pat last fought in January 2024 against Ryan Leininger in Unified MMA. Andreas Gustafsson is another fighter who holds power in his hands as 7 out of his 10 victories have come due to KO/TKO. Gustafsson last fought in November 2023 and has fought for BRAVE CF, Cage Warriors and FCR.
Result: Andreas Gustafsson defeats Pat Pytlik by TKO in round 2
Highlight:
Rizvan Kuniev (12-2-1) vs Hugo Cunha (8-1)
Fight breakdown: Rizvan Kuniev is coming into this season’s contender series already fighting on the show before. Rizvan competed in the 2021 season of the show and was able to get a 3rd round stoppage however, was not awarded a UFC contract. Hugh Cunha has been able to get victories in LFA while also competing in other major organisations like ONE Championship and Titan FC.
Result: Rizvan Kuniev defeats Hugo Cunha by TKO in the first round
Highlight:
Cortavious Romious (8-2) vs Michael Imperato (12-6)
Fight breakdown: Cortavious Romious is coming into this fight after competing on the 2023 series against Ramon Tavares. Unfortunately Cortavious was not able to get the victory losing due to a 1st round stoppage. Michael Imperato has been able to submit 9 out of his 12 victories and has been able to fight in some big organisations like Unified MMA.
Result: Cortavious Romious defeats Michael Imperato by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Highlight:
Cam Rowston (8-2) vs Torrez Finney (8-0)
Fight Breakdown: Cam Rowston is coming into this fight on a 5 fight winning streak and has been able to collect victories in Shuriken Fight Series and BRACE MMA and will look to collect the collect this evening. Torrez Finney has been on the show before being able to get the 2nd round rear naked choke victory. However, while he was able to get the stoppage he wasn’t awarded the contract and he will be looking to get the victory and get the contract this time around.
Result: Torrez Finney defeats Cam Rowston by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Billy Brand (5-1) vs Cody Haddon (6-1)
Fight Breakdown: Billy Brand is currently on a 4 fight winning streak and has been able to get the victory in his last 3 fights in Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat. He will face Cody Haddon who is fighting for the first time outside Australia and is also currently on a 4 fight winning streak
Result: Cody Haddon defeats Billy Brand in round 1 due to a submission
