UFC’S Daniel Cormier Shares Thoughts On Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou Boxing
Anthony Joshua OBE is a highly acclaimed British professional boxer known for his remarkable achievements in the heavyweight division. Boasting a powerful career, he has held the titles of World Boxing Association, International Boxing Federation, and World Boxing Organization champion not once, but twice. Joshua’s status as a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion between 2016 and 2021 underscores his dominance and skill in the boxing arena.
Recently talking on his YouTube channel Cormier spoke his mind on the matchup saying:
“Ngannou needs to intimidate him with size and in what he did the last time. That’s where Francis holds advantages because while these guys have boxed their whole life, Francis is not throwing his punches in the same ways that they’re used to seeing their whole life. I don’t know. You ask me this six months ago, I’d have said no chance. You ask me today, I think Francis has a chance, and I think Francis is gonna get it done.”
Ngannou Being Overlooked?
Bovada’s latest betting odds show that Francis Ngannou is marked as a +350 underdog in his matchup with Anthony Joshua. Joshua holds the favoured position at -525. This suggests a significant uphill battle for Ngannou against the British boxer.
