As the Unity Fighting Championship draws near, anticipation fills the air at the Dolphin Centre in Darlington. Among the fighters preparing for battle is Dacre Bradley, who is gearing up to make his return to the octagon after a year-long hiatus. In an exclusive interview, Bradley shares his thoughts on his upcoming fight and his journey back to active competition.
“It’s great to be back active and representing Great Britain Top Team,” Bradley states, expressing his excitement about returning to the ring: “I’ve found a new home there, and I’m excited for this run of fights on top promotions.”
Reflecting on his time away from competition, Bradley acknowledges the challenges he faced both inside and outside the gym: “It’s been a long road back to the cage for multiple reasons, both on and off the mats,” he admits: “During that time, I have leveled up my skillset and mindset to new heights, and I’m excited to display that in these coming weeks.”

Despite his absence from the spotlight, Bradley’s amateur career boasts an undefeated record: “Despite being undefeated, I have yet to show my full skillset in the cage,” he reveals: “I plan on having at least 6 fights this year, so watch this space.”
For those unfamiliar with his fighting style, Bradley offers a glimpse of what to expect: “If you’ve never seen me fight before, expect pace, precision, and entertainment,” he promises.
Turning his focus to his upcoming opponent, Ellis Pilkington, Bradley acknowledges the challenge ahead: “Ellis is a game Scotsman coming from a good gym; he’ll come for a scrap, and he’ll get it,” Bradley comments: “It’s London vs Glasgow, so let’s get it cracking.”
Despite Pilkington’s strengths, Bradley exudes confidence in his ability to secure the victory: “I believe I win wherever the fight goes with Ellis,” he asserts: “He’s a veteran, but I’m an entirely different puzzle.”
As the date of the fight approaches, Bradley remains steadfast in his determination to maintain his undefeated status: “On June 1st, at Unity Fighting Championship, I will find a finish in the opening two rounds,” he declares confidently: “Don’t miss the show.”
