Darren Till was a rising star in MMA and even fought for the welterweight championship against Tyron Woodley. He has a vast fanbase behind him as he was very likeable, and British athletes usually get a lot of support behind them. However, Till has recently suffered devastating defeats by the likes of Dricus Du Plessis and Derek Brunson. He has left the UFC, but in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Till talked about offers other MMA promotions have given him.
The Career Of Darren Till
Till was a great fighter, and he looked to be the next big thing in the MMA juggernaut as he put on some sensational performances inside the octagon. He was known for his incredible striking and likeable personality. It all started to go wrong after he suffered a crushing defeat against Jorge Masvidal in Liverpool. After that, he never looked like the same fighter, but hopefully, we will see him competing in the UFC again in the not-too-distant future. It is easy to see why other promotions would be interested in Till, as he is a big name and would draw much attention to the brand.
Till On Future
The MMA landscape right now is fascinating as there are many options where fighters can go and gain popularity and earn a decent wage. Speaking on the MMA hour, Till discussed his options.
“I didn’t want to go straight away and do MMA,” Till said. “I’ve had some crazy offers since I left from MMA organisations. Like the PFL…do I need the money? I think I’ve done it the right way and been in the gym every day….
“What’s the point in saying to Hunter [Campbell], ‘I need some time off’ and then go somewhere else?”

It’ll be interesting to see what Till does next, but wherever he does will be exciting.
