Darren Till’s announcement on his boxing debut vs. Mike Perry has left MMA fans disappointed. This has left his fans and supporters, such as Khamzat Chimaev, collectively coming to ‘The Gorilla’s’ support after the backlash.
Darren Till has most definitely had a rocky career with MMA. With such an outgoing and eccentric personality, mixed in with fantastic striking, he was almost destined for the UFC. It started off so well. With the whole of Liverpool behind him, his welterweight charge for the title was the best we ever saw of Till. Sadly, however, the UFC rushed him into a title fight against Tyrone Woodley. Then he decided to move up to middleweight and after one win and four losses, Darren Till was cut from the UFC on the 1st of March this year.
However, it is not over for Till in combat sports as he has switched over to boxing.
Darren Till Announces Boxing Match Against Mike Perry
Darren Till is all ready for his boxing match with the ever insane Mike Perry. The fight will be the head lining fight for The Prime Card. The card also consists of Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis and KSI vs Tommy Fury. This however has not given Till the desired affect as most MMA fans has found his announcement as highly disappointing. It also has led Khamzat Chimaev commenting his own support for his friend and teammate. This of course shows the divide between MMA fans and those who are loyal to Darren Till. It is very sad to see a prospect of Till’s calibre fall so far down in the MMA world. However, at the end of the day, this is a return for one of the funniest characters in combat sports currently and a fight against Mike Perry will surely create some hilarious moments. Who will win?
