Heavy Action: Night of The Heavyweights

Former world title challenger and a big name among UK fights fans formee World Title challenger (33-3) Dillian Whyte versus former Interim WBO Heavyweight world champion (16-3) Joe Joyce. It’s a massive encounter with both men needing a big win to keep their careers intact. Dillian Whyte comes off a questionable performance last time out versus Ebenezer Tetteh in Gibraltar. Whilst Joe Joyce lost a decision to Derek Chisora at the 02. Both are on the downward spiral and the fight has huge jeopardy for the futures of both in boxing.
The heavyweight action doesn’t stop there as 2 Cruiserweights move up to heavyweight. Former Cruiserweight world champion Lawrence Okolie takes on former world title challenger Richard Riakporhe in an all London domestic thriller. Okolie has had just the one fight at heavyweight back in December which only lasted a round with a big right hand from Okolie. Richard Riakporhe will debut at the weight vs Okolie, his last fight a decision defeat to Chris Billam-Smith at Selhurst Park for the WBO world Cruiserweight title.
The heavyweight action continues as hard hitting David Adeleye returns after his huge KO win over Solomon Dacres in December. He takes on Boxxer signed heavyweight Jeamie TKV. TKV just last week defeated Michael Webster via TKO in a not so exciting performance.
Also featuring on the card is Team GB heavyweight and the professional debut of Delicious Orie who just recently inked a deal with Frank Warren and Queensberry.
Another fight that is rumoured to feature is young star Moses Itauma who could be taking on former World Champion Charles Martin, however it’s not been officially announced with the card.
