Dillon Danis didn’t hold back in letting Jake Paul know his thoughts after the Youtuber-turned-boxer was handed his first professional boxing loss to Tommy Fury.
After a lengthy period of back-and-forth insults, fight cancellations and stress, Fury and Paul finally settled their differences between the ropes in Saudi Arabia. The fight was closely contested throughout the eight rounds, but the better technical boxer was Fury, as expected. Paul’s lack of experience showed several times, but the Youtube sensation gave a great account of himself.
The judges’ scorecards read 74-75, 76-73, and 76-73 in favour of Fury. Both men have verbally agreed on a rematch, and it would seem the more logical next move. That being said, MMA fighter and BJJ specialist Danis wants to throw his name in the hat.
Danis quickly rose to fame after being heavily involved in Conor McGregor’s training camps, eventually transitioning into MMA himself, going 2-0. The Twitter troll is known more for his slandering of his pears than actually fighting these days.
Paul and Fury were the latest victims of Danis’s Twitter jabs. The American native has previously had quarrels with Paul in the past, and they are known to dislike one another. After falling short on the judges’ scorecards, Danis warned Paul to “keep his name out his mouth” and also labelled Paul’s performance “embarrassing”.
Dillon Danis Slams Jake Paul Following Tommy Fury
Whatever Danis says is taking with a pinch of salt these days, but it seems he’s turned his attention to a bout with Fury, calling him out on Instagram following the fight: “Two undefeated sex symbols in their prime let’s run it.”
Do you think Dillon Danis is trolling as usual, or could he be serious about a fight with Tommy Fury?
