Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier may have a big exciting fight against Michael Chandler coming up, but that doesn’t stop him from furthering his other ventures.
Dustin has always been known to have other businesses and also his well-known Good Fight Foundation.
Poirier announced recently he had signed a multi-year marketing partnership with the UFC. His Hot Sauce ‘Poirier’s Louisiana Style’ will officially be the ‘Hot Sauce of the UFC’.
This comes with great perks, such as branded content across all of UFC’s social media channels and digital platforms starting at UFC 281 this weekend. With the UFC being the world’s leading mixed martial arts promotion, the content will be seen by over 200 million fans worldwide.
This also opens up the door for other fighters with different businesses to possibly become partners and work with the UFC in marketing.
What It Means to Dustin Poirier
Poirier had this say about the partnership and working with the UFC:
“It means a lot to have Poirier’s Louisiana Style named the first-ever Official Hot Sauce of UFC. Putting in the work – whether it’s training for the next fight, creating a hot sauce company, or helping through our Good Fight Foundation – it’s all about building a legacy for my family and my community. These hot sauces come from the cuisine I grew up with in Lafayette, Louisiana. These are my roots, and I’m excited for UFC fans to share the Cajun flavors.”
The marketing partnership kicks off this weekend at UFC 281 where Poirier is fighting Micheal Chandler. Headlining the card are two title fights. Israel Adesanya defends his belt against long-time kickboxing foe and No.5 ranked Alex Pereira. These two have got bad blood and a history between them which will make for an exciting fight. In the co-main event, Carla Esparza defends her belt against former champion Zhang Weili.
You can find Dustin Poirier’s hot sauce online from places like Amazon and HEATONIST.
