Dustin Porier has announced big news is coming regarding a potential retirement fight Via his social media channels.
Porier most recently was involved in a bout between himself and Islam Makhachev for the lineal lightweight championship of the world.
Dustin came up short in this bout and after failing to capture gold at the third attempt, he teased a potential retirement form the sport.
Porier has been a mainstay and fan favourite in the sport with numerous famous moments including a double win over Conor McGregor and a Unanimous decision win over current BMF Max Holloway.

He has recently claimed he would never retire on a loss and has made it clear he hasn’t ever lost twice in a row.
“I’ve never lost two in a row, I can’t leave this sport on a loss. But at the same time, I want to be 100 per cent in it if I’m going to do it again, because I don’t want to disrespect the sport. I honour this stuff, I do. I just want to do it right and get my hand raised and leave on my terms with a win.”
Dustin Porier has taken to instagram to announce “big news coming soon Uno Mas”.
It is rumoured that a fight between him and Colby Covington is in the works behind the scenes at the UFC.
This would end a long standing conflict between the two after both have taken jabs at each other for years previously.
The rumour is being reported that UFC 309 would be headlined by Dustin Porier Vs Colby Covington, the first non title headline since Covington and Masvidal.
