The upcoming Kratos Fight Series event on Saturday, August 31st, promises an electrifying showdown as two of Scotland’s top amateur flyweights prepare to face off in a highly anticipated rematch.
Lewis Hamilton, undefeated and representing Ayrshire Hit Squad, will square off against Dylan Lamb of Punisher Kickboxing Academy. This fight is particularly significant for Lamb, who is eager to redeem himself after a previous loss to Hamilton in the Goliath four-man tournament.
As the fight date approaches, Lamb shared his thoughts on the rematch, his preparation, and what fans can expect.
Dylan Lamb Ready for Redemption at Kratos Fight Series
Reflecting on his recent experience, Lamb talked about how he processed his decision loss during BMF’s first event in Scotland:
“I feel like I processed the loss from BMF pretty [well]. Felt like it could have went my way after the 5 rounds, but I shouldn’t have left it down to the judges. I didn’t take much damage, so I was right back in the gym working on getting better and seeing what was next.”
Lamb didn’t hesitate when the opportunity for a rematch against Hamilton came up:
“When I got offered the fight, I had no hesitation on taking the fight. I had been asking for the rematch the minute the fight finished.”
In their first encounter, Hamilton secured a first-round finish, but Lamb is confident that his growth and hard work will prevent a repeat of that outcome:
“Since I last fought Lewis, I’ve been putting in a lot of work in the gym and gained a lot of experience in a close 5-round fight. Last time out, I tried to rush the fight and ended up getting caught, so I will be looking to pick my shots this time round.”
Lamb Doing Everything to Win
Acknowledging Hamilton’s undefeated record and three-fight win streak, Lamb remains focused on his own goals:
“It means everything to get my hand raised on 31st August, and when I do, the trilogy is on the cards in the future.”
Finally, Dylan Lamb shared what fans and supporters can expect from him on fight night:
“Everyone can expect an exciting fight with me getting my hand raised at the end of it. Anyone who’s watched my fights will know I’m never in a boring fight and will always hunt for the finish.”
As the rematch between these two skilled fighters draws near, fans of combat sports are in for an intense and thrilling battle. With both competitors eager to prove themselves, the Kratos Fight Series main event is one not to be missed.
