Eddie Hall would face off against the Neffati brothers on Friday evening in a 2v1 match up. However, while Eddie Hall may not have the numbers advantage he was still able to secure a massive knockout victory.
Eddie Hall Destroys Two Fighters In a 2 v 1 Matchup
The fight started with it being very slow with the referee having to intervene multiple times to call for action. The Neffati brothers tried to keep their distance from Eddie Hall and at times were running around the cage. Eddie Hall, has won the world’s strongest man so given, his size his movement to chase them around was limited. However, Eddie Hall did realise he needed to keep his back to the cage. This was so he was protected from a sneak attack from one of the brothers.
Due to the lack of action during the fight, the fights who were in attendance started to boo the fighters competing. This made Eddie Hall try and encourage his opponents to try and make a move against him. Throughout the first two rounds of the fight, there wasn’t a punch landed as the brothers tried to slow Hall down with leg kicks.
However, with less than a minute left of the fight, the brothers would then go to try and launch an attack to try and win the fight. The brothers appeared to go for single-leg takedowns with both of the fighters going for it. This would be the start of the end as Hall would end up manhandling the pair. Eddie Hall started throwing them across the cage as the other brother attacked.
One brother was still trying to hold onto Hall’s lead leg. However, Eddie Hall would end up getting him off the leg. Once he was no longer clinging onto Hall’s leg. Eddie Hall was able to land a clean punch which would see Jamil fall down to the floor. The referee would then call a stop to the action and the brother would have to leave with his injuries and the fight would continue as a 1v1 now.
Turned Into a 1v1 Fight
Now this fight had turned into a 1v1 match-up. This now made this fight a very absurd mismatch due to the fighter’s size difference. This is due to the brother that was still in the cage coming in just over 147lbs which is more than a 200lbs difference between him and Eddie Hall. While this was now it mismatch it would only be for the final few seconds of the fight.
The last brother would then try and run away from Hall for the rest of the fight. This was going to plan however, with the final seconds of the fight he would end up getting dragged down to the ground. Eddie Hall would then seem apologetic as he was throwing ground-and-pound onto his opponent. The sole brother would end up curling up on the floor.
While the sole brother was curled up on the floor the referees insisted that Eddie Hall throw something to be able to end the fight. Eddie Hall then threw off a couple of light shots against the brother. This was before the referee would wave the fight off with seconds to go. Even though the crowd may not have had much action at the start of the fight. They went mental at the end.
