On June 4th, another match-up was added to the Golden Ticket Fight Promotions card. This one will be an amateur bout at flyweight between Jack Henshall and Ethan Silvey. Both young, both hungry. This one should be fireworks.
Jack Henshall
Originally a bantamweight, Jack fought at flyweight in his last outing. Clearly feeling he has found his home, he looks to set his path and earn his first 125lbs win. With an amateur record of 3-4, Henshall’s career hasn’t been plain sailing, but each time he loses, he learns and comes back stronger. With this next fight being his fourth appearance for Golden Ticket Fight Promotions, Jack will be looking to make a statement and become a star for the company.
Fighting out of Hardy Wall MMA In Leicestershire. Other hungry up-and-coming prospects surround Henshall. With a submission victory to his name, Jack knows how to tangle when it comes to the ground. He also knows what it takes to grind out a result, with two of his victories being decision wins.
Ethan Silvey
Fighting out of Cardiff, Wales, Ethan has gained himself an amateur record of 3-2. All three victories have come by way of finish. Holding two Rear Naked Choke submissions and a KO win, Silvey is dangerous wherever the fight goes. Winning two in the first and one in the third. Ethan is a menace throughout the fight giving his opponents no moments of peace.
Training at The Mat Academy with head coach Lewis Long. Silvey has a good team around him to help him learn his craft and build a successful career. Stepping into GTFP for the second time, Ethan will be hoping it’s as good as his first when he won 1:50 into the first via KO. Winning the Budo Flyweight championship last time out, he hopes this is just the start of his belt collection.
