Every Undefeated Fighter Competing at UFC 286
Yanal Ashmoz – 6-0
Yanal Ashmoz makes his debut in a hostile atmosphere. Taking on Britain’s own Sam Patterson, who’s also debuting. The Israeli will need to use all his skills to get the job done.
A potentially overlooked talent, who’s looking to make his mark on the big stage. Ashmoz has produced some exciting displays in his short career thus far. Of his six wins, only one has seen the judges. With three KO/TKOs and two submissions on his resume thus far.
Impressing enough to get a shot in the UFC the company hierarchy clearly sees potential in the 27-year-old.
Christian Leroy Duncan – 7-0
The former Cage Warriors middleweight champion makes his debut on the big stage at UFC 286. Competing on the early prelims, many have high hopes for the 27-year-old. With a back catalogue of impressive performances under his belt already, UFC London could prove to be his biggest to date.
Taking on the established 12-3 Dusko Todorovic who’s 3-3 inside the UFC. Two men who loved to finish fights in their combined 19 wins only two have seen the judges.
Duncan comes into this bout off the back of two highlight-reel finishes where he won and then defeated his Cage Warriors gold. Christian has five KO/TKOs and one submission to his name.
Gabriel Santos 10-0
Stepping in on short notice the former LFA featherweight champion enters enemy territory against one of Britain’s best, Lerone Murphy. An unknown quantity as far as the UFC goes his body of work elsewhere speaks for itself.
As mentioned previously Santos was the LFA featherweight champion before his call to the UFC. He won the belt in his last outing with a beautiful body shot before finishing the fight with ground and pound. Of his ten wins four have been courtesy of submission and three via KO/TKO.
Lerone Murphy – 11-0-1
Thanks to the man above, Lerone Murphy still has a fight at UFC 286. Originally set to face fellow Brit Nathaniel Wood at the event. A gruesome injury ruled ‘The Prospect’ out. Not the ideal build-up to a showcase fight, Murphy is one of the UK’s best and brightest and will relish the opportunity to fight in front of a home crowd for the first time in the UFC.
So far in his UFC career, he has gone 3-0-1. Drawing his debut against the always-tricky Zubaira Tukhugov. Since this minor setback, Lerone has been perfect in the octagon. No performance is more impressive than his flying knee knockout over Makwan Amirkhani last time out.
Of his 11 wins seven have come by way of KO/TKO. Able to compete wherever the fight goes, Lerone is most comfortable with his striking. Fast and dynamic he’s as tough a fight as there is among the unranked at 145 lbs.
Casey O’Neill – 9-0
Returning to action after a long layoff due to injury. Casey O’Neill is looking to show fans why she’s one of the Flyweight division’s hottest prospects. Delivering the goods thus far in the UFC she has quickly established herself and earned the #12 ranking.
Four fights deep into her UFC run, her first three were flawless. Stopping all three emphatically. Her fourth was against MMA legend Roxanne Modafferi who she dispatched soundly, retiring ‘The Happy Warrior’. In London, O’Neill will now again face a step up in competition taking on former title challenger #8 Jennifer Maia.
A complete martial artist, the Scottish Aussie has proven her ability to compete in all facets of the game. Boasting an impressive five finishes, three by KO/TKO and two by submission.
Muhammad Mokaev – 8-0
A man on a mission. Since joining the UFC Mokaev has been actively campaigning to compete as regularly as possible. At only 22, the prospect has hopes of becoming the youngest UFC champion to date. With such hype comes difficulty finding match-ups. On the night he’ll face promotional newcomer, 14-2 Jafel Filho.
Making his fourth UFC walk in his debut year. His previous three have been immense earning Mo the #12 Flyweight ranking. So far Muhammad has shown fans why he is rated so highly by the UK faithful.
With high-level wrestling and ever-evolving striking Mokaev makes a great case for becoming UFCs youngest ever champion. Of his eight wins five have been stopped before the horn. Earning four submissions and a lone TKO.
