Brendan Allen and Chris Curtis closed out the last show before UFC 300, here’s what was said about the clash.
After a hard fought gritty battle, Brendan Allen was awarded a split decision victory over Chris Curtis. This is Allen’s seventh win in a row, showing quite an impressive streak.
The first round saw Allen looking strong. Curtis then came back and showed his impressive stand up game in the second and third round. Allen dug deep in the fourth and fifth round to win the split decision victory.
This fight was received well by fans and fighter alike. Fellow UFC fighters praised the bout, even dubbing it as the “fight of the year so far”.
