Francis Ngannou Set to Take Another MMA Hiatus, Eyes Rewarding Bout
With rumors of a fruitful boxing bout circling the name Francis Ngannou at the moment. It looks like Ngannou is set to take another MMA Hiatus to prepare for the venture. Ngannou thirty-eight (38) years old has a professional boxing record of 0-2. However, the losses have come against boxing’s best heavyweights Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. Losing to the top guys in the world is not entirely a bad thing, Now coming off back-to-back losses as the new guy in Shark Tank is enough to make anyone of Ngannou’s elite caliber ready to make the third time the charm.
Francis Ngannou Return to MMA Debuts at PFL
Following his two boxing defeats Nannou returned to the octagon and MMA for his PFL (Professional Fighters League) debut. Ngannou’s PFL debut was not the warm welcome back you would expect. On the other side of the octagaon stood 6’8 spectacle Renan Ferreira. Ferreira 13-4 is one of the tallest tests of Ngannou’s career, The Predator (Ngannou) dispatched Ferreira in less than a round. After reclaiming his title as the king in the octagon Ngannou is now facing a massive question moving forward.
Boxing or MMA Ngannou Will Do Both in 2025
PFL chairman, Donn Davis says the giant (Ngannou) will likely do both in the year 2025. Ngannou’s next outing in all probability will be in the square circle against who no names have been given. Just talks of a potential rematch with Fury or the possibility of a confrontation with Deontay Wilder. Davis says Ngannou will make the announcement about his boxing bout but we will see him compete In MMA as well. Both are the answer to the question of boxing or MMA the predator will do both!
Climbing the Boxing Mountain
Francis Ngannou sits comfortably at the top of the MMA heavyweight mountain he’s a few steps behind in boxing. The Predator is 0-2 in the squared circle and is on the hunt for his first boxing win. A decision loss to Fury a vicious knockout loss to Joshua, does not leave much room for another slip down the mountain. Ngannou a former punch power record holder is eager and driven to make the third time the charm.
